Welcome to Bethel Chapel at the Waterfalls, situated in the picturesque village of Dyserth, North Wales.

This is the place we call home for the weekend. A place to feel safe, relax, a happy place.

The Chapel before being brought to today’s splendid glory was purchased by Mike and Jules Peters in 2004 and utilised as a recording studio for Mike who is the founder, of the famous group The Alarm.

Mike and Jules are my inspiration to hold the retreat at the Chapel. They are rock and rollers, international musicians, who have performed with Bob Dylan, Bono, Vox, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen to name but a few. It’s a place that has stimulated much creativity resulting in 6 million album sales worldwide for The Alarm.

Choosing a location that is so highly connected to musical creativity, spirituality, sound and vibration, is just perfect and and simply really couldn’t resonate any better than that for me. So welcome to the world of sound, please come and share in the magic of the Waterfall Apartments.

Bethel Chapel stands in its own grounds, and showcases its beautiful tended gardens. The Waterfall is 100 yards in front of the building and behind that there are beautiful Dells, rivers,caves and countryside walks for you to explore in your free time. Both Dyserth and Meliden Mountain are in close proximity too and a great vantage point to see the Snowdonia mountain range from on a clear day. The seaside resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn Beaches are 10 minutes away by car where you can paddle or swim in your free time.

The Chapel has now been converted into 4, 2-bedroomed apartments with original arched windows, and a 3-bedroomed luxury Penthouse. You will see from photos presented in their Website that the property has been expertly renovated with Italian furnishings, steel cladded walls, original stonework and beams, that tell a story from way back when, in 1869.

Breakfasts are offered in the communal dining area but you can take this breakfast to the privacy of your own apartments if you prefer quiet time. So no rushing to get anywhere first thing. All food is prepared by our lovely Penny of Taste of Honey Catering and her wonderful assistant Alicia. Everything is cooked from scratch and with love and just tastes divine.

Shared Room - 2 sharing- £399pp -(Early Bird offer £359) 

Private room with own bathroom or en-suite - £599pp (Early Bird offer £559)

Each room is offered based on two person occupancy (shared room) each with its own ensuite or.bat room. There is an option for King single occupancy en suite but at a different rate.

Each apartment and bedroom setups are are very similar therefore room shares will be allocated by the organiser, however particular needs can be met, such as restricted mobility getting up stairs, or if you are coming as friends or a partner and wish to share rooms. Please make this clear on booking and your rooms can be allocated accordingly.
